Goot Essa Minced Garlic Cheddar Cheese is a farmstead, hand-made, all natural, raw cow milk cheddar infused with pieces of field raised garlic. The real garlic pieces add not only an intense garlic flavor, but they also intensify the cheddar taste. This is a new recipe developed by Israel, our famous Amish cheese maker, and has found great favor among garlic lovers. This cheese is a medium bodied semi-hard texture with distinct garlic pieces that add to the mouth feel. This cheese is produced in 40 lb blocks and is aged for 12 months. Sweet and Spicy Dipping Mustard increases the cheddar flavor as well as enhances the garlic experience. Tart apples pair well with Minced Garlic Cheddar. This cheese pairs well with rosemary roasted chicken and deep-fried turkey. It also makes a unique ingredient in fondues. Unoaked white whiles and light fruity reds go well with Minced Garlic Cheddar. This is a versatile cheese that goes well with a host of brews: Rye ale, German pale lager, blonde ale, IPA, stout, amber ale, and pale ale. This is a natural “go with beer” cheese
The milk for this cheese is produced on the Esh family farm located in the Nittany Valley of central Pennsylvania. The Eshes are proud of both their farmstead and the care that they give each individual animal. A large emphasis is put on cow comfort and providing a natural environment for the cows.
