About our cheese
Our cheeses are hand made from whole cow, goat or sheep milk, salt, and cheese cultures. They are molded and cut by hand, which means they will not be perfectly uniform, but they will be within the range allowed by government standards or will be individually weighed. Because our cheeses are all natural with no preservatives, they will need to be kept in a cooler and kept under 45º F. Our facilities are PA certified and inspected to guarantee maximum flavor, consistency, and cleanliness.

About distribution
We do not use distributors. Instead, we ship directly to your business via UPS or FedEx in insulated boxes with ice packs. We ship on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to ensure you get your cheese the same week at its flavorful best. If you order late Wednesday afternoon, Thursday, Friday or Saturday, we will send the order on the following Monday. We can also use special shipping when required. There is no shipping charge for orders over $250.00.
Invoices are generally sent via Email, but there is also a paper copy attached to the outside of the shipping box.
About samples for you
If you would like to taste our cheese, we would like to send you a sample package of 4-5 cheeses upon request. You may speak with Carolyn (1-800-490-4387), Steven (1-814-482-1353), or John (1-814-383-0180) about your cheese sample selections. If you prefer, you may also send an email with your selections to gootessacheese@gmail.com.
About samples for your clients
We have always found that the way to increase cheese sales is to offer free samples to your clients—the great flavor of Goot Essa cheese speaks for itself! In fact, in order to facilitate this, we will send you free samples amounting to 5% of your total order. We also recognize that free samples do not work for everyone, so we will allow you to deduct 3% in lieu of the 5% for samples. Just state whether you want the samples or the discounts when you place your order.
About ordering
You can order by several convenient methods. The easiest is to call Carolyn at 1-800-490-4387. She is normally in the office Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Eastern time. If there is no answer, please leave a message and your order. We will call you back to confirm the order before anything is shipped.
You can also order by fax at 1-814-349-1262 or via email at gootessacheese@gmail.com. Please leave the cheese name, unit size and number of units when you place your order. We will confirm receipt of your fax or email.
About our terms
We like to keep things simple and easy and our terms reflect that. After the product has shipped, we would request payment within 30 days. After 30 days, a 2% monthly late fee will be added. If you prefer, we also accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.
