Retailers report that U.S. consumers spend nearly a billion dollars on chocolate just during the Easter holiday season. When everyone else is gifting chocolate by the truckload, Goot Essa can help you send a gift basket with something different: European-style, artisan cheeses made with milk sourced from our Amish partner farms in Pennsylvania.
Of course, we bring the sweet treats, too. Our homemade chocolate and peanut butter fudges in baskets like Cozy Treats or Hearth and Home provide an extra something sweet with our wide variety of artisanal cheese. We also pack our baskets with mustard, spreads, honey, crackers and apple butter.
Customers on the West Coast and in the Midwest can take advantage of our new shipping prices. Depending on the size of the basket, shipping to the Midwest costs about $20. West Coast shipping is more, and East Coast shipping is less.
If you’re looking for a smaller basket as an Easter stuffer, try The Gourmet Appetizer, which gives you 8 ounces each of our Mountain Valley Sharp Cheddar and Old German Weissa, a semi-soft cow cheese that’s smooth and creamy with a medium body, and just a touch of tang in the flavor. The Gourmet Appetizer also includes 4 ounces each of Autun Dawn Apple Butter and Sweet & Spicy Dipping Mustard.
The Gourmet Snack Box features two cave-aged cheeses paired with cranberry preserve. We age our camembert-style Der Weichen Gehl for 60 days in our cave. It has a mild, buttery flavor with lingering flavors of tangy cream and a nutty—but gentle—rind. The bloomy rind-style Marn Vom Berge Kase is a goat cheese with a salted butter-brie like flavor, with tangy cream and a mild earthy finish of light mushroom.
And although we call it our Christmas Memories basket, this arrangement features five different cheeses and condiments, and crackers, making it an excellent complement to any Easter dinner.
